There have long been rumours of a feud between singer songwriters Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish, and new evidence suggests an escalation
A feud between two of the biggest singer songwriters may have escalated, according to new proof.
If you keep track of the comings and goings between the biggest celebrities out there,
you’ll probably be aware of a rumoured feud between Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish.
Taylor Swift fans insist they saw something very risqué during her recent concert performance
Now, although no one has appeared to call the other one out directly, many fans have noted what appear to be slights between the two musicians – with some even accusing Swift of ‘weaponising’ her fans.
In a new development on the alleged ‘feud’ between the pair, an ‘insider’ close to Eilish told the Daily Mail: “Industry insiders aren’t blind to the fact that Taylor is weaponizing her fans and that Billie appears to be the latest victim in that campaign.”
The insider added: “Whenever Taylor feels jealous of a peer’s success, she does all she can to make sure her fans start vicious online campaigns to bring that person down without ever telling them to stop. And all while operating under the guise of being America’s sweetheart.”
Those are certainly some pretty explosive claims!

For Eilish’s part, some remarks about people who have concerts that go on for a long time have been interpreted as being direct against Swift.
In an interview on Stationhead following the recent release of her latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, Eilish said: “Nobody wants that. You guys don’t want that. I don’t want that. I don’t even want that as a fan.
“My favorite artist in the world, I’m not trying to hear them for three hours.”
For context, the run time for Swift’s Eras Tour, which made the singer a billionaire, around three hours and 15 minutes.
So it’s understandable why some people might think that the remarks were a little, let’s say, pointed.
Eilish has also previously taken aim at musicians who write songs intended to take aim at a particular individual from their past.

And given Swift’s well-known propensity for writing songs about her exes, it’s perhaps not outlandish to argue that this could be directed at her.
And this wouldn’t be the first time that Swift has gotten involved in a public feud with another celebrity.
It’s widely known that there is no love lost between Swift and reality star Kim Kardashian.
Swift recently released a song about a high school bully, with the title thanK you aIMee.
The capitalised words in the song spelled out ‘KIM’ in a reference which seems pretty on the nose, to put it mildly.
