For those who don’t know, he was born in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany on March 19, 1955.
His mother was German and worked in a factory, while his father was an American soldier.
Soon, he acknowledge acting as his true calling. It was in the 1980s that he starred in the TV series «Moonlighting». Among his most remarkable roles are «Die Hard» and «The Sixth Sense» which brought his career into a new level.
It is not a secret he is currently facing a serious illness which is incurable and continues to progress. It is having its impact on the quality of his life. He had to put an end to his career. His condition brought limitations of speaking, memorizing and moving leaving the man with nothing but little hope.
It stands to reason that the diagnosis has had its impact on his family too. They became his biggest supporters and navigators for him through hard and challenging times. It is difficult for them to get used to the fact that their loved one has little time and soon they will have to say goodbye.
It is reported that the actor uses a special devise for speaking and stopped recognizing most members of his family. One thing that delights people is that he managed to see his granddaughter, the child of his daughter Rumer.
