One of France’s most celebrated actors, the incomparable Pierre Richard, is set to celebrate his 90th birthday this August!

Despite his age, Richard appears and feels remarkably youthful.

When quizzed by reporters about his secret to vitality, he playfully hints that his fitness regimen involves exercising… in bed!

True to his French heritage, Richard has led a life filled with passionate escapades. He spent two decades with his first wife, the Paris “Grand Opera” ballerina Danielle Minatsolli, raising two sons together.

Following his divorce, Richard embarked on romances with actress Murielle Dubrule and a young Moroccan model named Aisha, yet none could truly satisfy him. However, everything changed when he crossed paths with Brazilian model Seyla Lacerda.

Their connection was instantaneous, transcending their 30-year age gap and language barriers—Lacerda hadn’t seen any of Richard’s films, and he didn’t speak Portuguese. Nevertheless, their chemistry ignited into a long-lasting flame, and they’ve been together for nearly three decades.

Richard admits that Seyla changed him profoundly, prompting him to stop casting his gaze elsewhere. With her, he bid adieu to his houseboat on the Seine, where he’d resided for years. Despite the changes, Richard still maintains some of his old habits—he continues to indulge his passion for travel, enjoys motorcycle rides, and savors a glass or two of fine wine during sumptuous meals.
