Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary Black Sabbath frontman, recently announced he will not perform at the Power Trip Festival in October due to ongoing health issues.
Despite his determination to return to the stage, Ozzy stated, “As painful as this is, I’ve had to make the decision to bow out of performing on Power Trip in October.”
Ozzy has faced numerous health challenges in recent years, including a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis and several surgeries.
His initial plan was to return to performing in the summer of 2024.
“When the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward,” he shared, but his health has taken priority.
Expressing his gratitude, he wrote, “I love you all, and I will see you soon. Above all, I want to thank my fans, my band, and my crew for their unwavering loyalty and ongoing support.”
Fans quickly responded with support, encouraging Ozzy to prioritize his health. “There’s no need to apologize; you’ve provided years of fun,” one admirer commented.
Reflecting on his career, Ozzy remains determined to perform again, saying, “I am determined to get back on stage, even if I have to be nailed to a board and wheeled on.”
