One of Hollywood’s most beloved couples is Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

The two have resided in Los Angeles for an extended period of time; however

she has recently disclosed the catalyst that ultimately prompted her to relocate.

In light of the two horrific incidents that she and her family have experienced in their own home,

Goldie Hawn disclosed that the twinkle and glamor of L.A. no longer captivate her.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s residence was not immune to the increasing crime rate in Los Angeles. During her appearance on Kelly Ripa’s ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera’ podcast, the seasoned actress disclosed that she intends to relocate from the city, particularly in light of the fact that she and her family experienced two break-ins within a brief period.

She disclosed that she and her long-term partner, Kurt Russell, have been contemplating potential relocation destinations. They observed that Palm Desert is a pleasant region; however, they now regard it as “terrible” in comparison to Los Angeles.

Hawn described two burglaries that she and her family experienced. In both instances, she disclosed that the robbers had attempted to gain entry to her property. One group of robbers succeeded in doing so and proceeded to search through her rooms.

She detailed the full extent of the robbery, stating, “They completely tore down my door, which is a safe door. They are very, very sophisticated, and they took a lot of my stuff, if you know what I mean.”
The couple was subjected to another robbery just four months after the first incident, when they attempted to put the incident behind them. The entire ordeal served as a catalyst for her to take action, as she came to the realization that Los Angeles may not be the ideal environment for her. The incident left her so shaken that she remains perpetually vigilant, unable to unwind.

Burglaries have not exclusively targeted Goldie Hawn’s residence. Several prominent individuals, such as King Bach, Corinna Kopf, Farrah Aldjufrie, and Patrick Patterson, were reported to have been the victims of crimes in 2024.
