Famed “King of the Cowboys” Roy Rogers and “Queen of the West” Dale Evans were among the first Hollywood television stars.

Rogers became the most famous western performer of his day thanks to his iconic roles as singing cowboy Trigger and faithful palomino horse.

He had his own show, Roy Rogers Show, and appeared in more than a hundred films.
