Almost 4 decades have passed since the release of this classic movie which was truly a success then back. It goes without saying that neither the actors, nor the directors «were prepared» for such popularity and the great influence it had.
Interestingly enough, initially they imagined that the roles would be played by J. Parker or Sh. Stone and Val Kilmer. Yet, Swayze and Grey became those lucky ones who brilliantly took the parts. Recently, the actress has got candid about her true impressions of Swayze and their off-screen relationship.
«Patrick would constantly play practical jokes on myself and other people. I couldn’t handle it, even though it was all in good humor».
Later, the prominent actor sincerely apologized for his actions and won Grey’s heart. According to the actress, he was a strong, committed and protective personality as well as a brave and great dancer.
It is worth mentioning that Grey returns to «Dirty Dancing» 2 which will probably be released in 2025.
Unfortunately, the actor passed away and is no more with us.
